Technically, the Brooklyn is a Russian Imperial, but you would never know there is 10% abv in it. Just yum!

But yeah... I can see if you are hosting a party that serving up many bottles of the Brooklyn may not be such a good idea. *hic*

I just like that nothing says American made like a beer from Brooklyn.

Well, no, the Brooklyn BCS is decidedly NOT an Irish stout.

I've been drinking nothing BUT stout for the last month or so. I think I might skip it for St. Pat's and have a Harp instead.

I just had the Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout last night. That is a GREAT beer. Though I think it would make for a short St. Pat's day if I chose to drink that one. It's not what I would call a "session" beer.

Good call on the Murphy's. I have nothing against Guinness, but I enjoy Murphy's more.
