The Czech Republic is always at or near the top for beer consumption per capita, and is, of course, the birthplace of Pilsner, the most popular beer style in the world.
So, it’s probably no surprise that a couple of industrious entrepreneurs have created a beer dispenser that can read data on identity cards and passports and refuse to serve underage patrons. The reader is apparently sophisticated enough to identify photocopies of official documents.
Messrs. Stibor and Polnar have applied for an international patent and have a contract with the brewery Plzensky Prazdroj, which wants to distribute the dispensers in Prague and central Bohemia at first, especially in hotels, student dormitories, and shopping centers.
Czechnology at it’s best! The Czechs are a people who will never cease to amaze me with their practical-minded innovations.
“Czechnology”. That’s funny.
Hi,
Can someone forward me the contacts of these two inventors?
I’m thinking of exploring this.
Thanks a great deal
Cheers,
Macallan
