Craft beer gaining shelf space
The “Brew” Blog notes that craft beer shelf space is up 20% in the past four weeks.
Craft beer sales are up, due to not only the increase in shelf space, but also the decline of imports, down a whopping tenth of a point. The first decline in 93 weeks. (Led by Corona, feeling the pinch of a price increase.)
Great news. Of course, 20% of a single-digit number is still a single-digit number. Still, sales of craft beers just keep going up and up and up.
