Positive health effects

Croatian lifestyle website Javno reminds us of the several ways that beer, in moderation, is good for us. (Warning: Some images on the site may not be SFW.)

Beer does not contain too much alcohol, but only just enough to have a relaxing effect on the brain which reduces stress, and with that reduces the possibility of falling sick to a disease which results from constant stress.

Also mentioned: anti-cancer effects, vitamins, and improving memory.

Obligatory disclaimer: I am not a doctor, and taking up beer to improve health is a bad idea.
