Happy Birthday to us!

Today marks the one year anniversary of the launch of Hop Talk. It was Ron who started us off, wondering if he was qualified to even talk about beer.

We’ve had a great time. Let me tell you, it’s almost addicting this blogging thing. Being able to use it as an excuse to drink beer is almost too good to be true. More than once in this past year, when I mentioned to my wife that I needed to come up with something to write about, she invariably said “okay, let’s go to the beer store”. (She also came up with the name. I love her.)

That’s not to say it hasn’t been work.

Wow! Usually it’s only my friends who are interested in what I have to say, and even then not all of the time. That so many other people are interested is, like, the coolest thing ever.

Of course, if it wasn’t for your interest, your thoughtful comments, and your pingbacks, we’d feel like we were talking to a wall. Not that we wouldn’t anyway, but it’s definitely not as interesting and we may not have made it this far.
