This blog is about beer and life.

Here’s a few items that caught my eye in the last few days.
The Bronze Age of Irish Brewing (Brookston Beer Bulletin)
Mysterious horseshoe-shaped mounds that dot the Irish countryside and date back to the Bronze age may very well be brewery locations.
Bears Snack on Man at Beer Festival (Hail the Ale)
A beerfest in Serbia turned tragic when the partially-eaten body of a patron is found in the bear cage. The bears are reluctant to give up their treasure. Multiple cellular phones, beer cans, and other items were found in the cage. I am reminded of the old joke about two hunters who get surprised by a bear and start to run.
“Why are you running? We’ll never outrun that bear.”
“I don’t have to outrun the bear. I just have to outrun you.”
Wis. Lawmakers Back Beer Industry (The “Beer Me” Blog)
Milwaukee isn’t the “Beer City” for nothing.
