In my youth, I used laugh at those commercials for Metamucil and similar topics.
I’m not so youthful anymore. At the very least I’m not laughing. There’s nothing like being on cholesterol medication to remind you that you can’t eat (or drink) like an eighteen-year-old any more.
Always on the lookout for news about beer and health, I see that Korean brewer, Hite (Korean) is claiming that their new “S” beer has a gram of fiber in every 200 milliliters. Probably not a fifth of your typical fiber supplement, but I suppose it can’t hurt.

Hite do not need to put an S in front of their name to indicate the quality of their lager. One sip will do it.

I haven’t had the “pleasure” of sampling one of their beers. I don’t know if they even export to the U.S. Seeing the green bottle doesn’t inspire confidence.
The stout is passable but their lager is vapid. I had to go to Seoul to find that out, but now that I have, you don’t have to
