More online homebrewing resources

Sometimes it seems that the Internet and the World Wide Web were invented just for me. I’m online constantly. If I can’t check my e-mail for a day I get twitchy. Whenever I come across something I don’t know, a quick Google search or browsing the relevant category at the Open Directory Project usually gets me what I need. Wikipedia and Snopes are also common destinations. I could go on and on.

So it is only natural that when I’m looking to expand my beer horizons I would turn to the Web. Some of the sites I’ve found useful (and not-so-useful) I’ve shared with you. (Check out our “Resources” category.) I recently asked the members of F.O.A.M. what online brewing resources they use and recommend.

Home Brew Digest
Just about everyone mentioned this.

How To Brew
The companion site to the book of the same name and a great all around resource for the techniques of brewing. You can even download the entire first edition of the book for free.

BrewBoard
A great discussion board with an unbelievable amount of knowledge. Ask any question about brewing and you’ll get a couple answers from guys that had the same problem.

American Homebrewers Association
And, specifically, AHA Tech Talk (AHA members only).

Morebeer’s Brew Chat
Another great resource discussion forum.

The Brewing Network

Brew Monkey

What are some of your favorite homebrewing resources?

Update: Ron also did a post on homebrewing resources.
