My point was I want to go to England. I missed my opportunity the first and only time I was there, in 1995. (I was on my honeymoon. I wasn't thinking much about beer.) I've had a number of the Oaked Arrogant Bastards, and I have a bottle of Samichlaus waiting for winter to come 'round again. I guess I'll have to update my list. I am a little late. Had Utopias this a week ago, be ready for a sugary maple taste. best explanation, maple syrup in your mouth, cognac in your throat. Also, come up to Baltimore for some hand pumps sometime. Max's on Broadway usually has a few on tap, as does MaHaffeys Pub, as well as the Wharf Rat has their own (Oliver) on cask. I wouldn't have put them on my wishlist, but you always want what you can't have, right? It even showed up in the "tiny hole in the wall place that has the worst selection of beer ever" store that I go to in a pinch. I've seen it in the Fredericksburg, Fairlakes, Warrenton and Sterling stores. If none of them are too far off, you should check them out. They've been having trouble carrying the Anchor Seasonal so you may want to give them a call first to see if they have the Sami in stock. Good luck in the search.
