Proposed outrageous alcohol taxes in Maryland
Less than an hour after I posted news of the new direct wine shipping bill being considered by the Maryland legislature, I come across this:
I have nothing to add to Chris O’Brien’s analysis, except to say that I agree with him. And I’m angry.

Maryland Brewers Springfest – May 29, 2010

I am totally bummed that I can’t go to this. I mean it’s practically in my backyard. But we have guests coming in from out of town with young ones and a beer festival just doesn’t fit into our plans. Yeah, I could go by myself, but for the sake of domestic harmony I can’t.
