True, to a point. It would be hard to write about, say, Brewer’s Alley’s beers while I was there. Or to bring in a bottle of something.

At a mere $2 a pint, though, I expect I’ll be there more often.

As one of those Attention-Deficit-High-Definition types, there’s always to much stuff around the house to distract me from getting things done, so I like to write outside the home.

I used to write my biweekly beer column in a coffee shop the morning after the biweekly beer tasting I host. Bad idea. Now the column is produced from a cozy pub, a pint of whatever in my hand. Thank you, WiFi!
