Brewer’s Association weighs in on 2007 craft beer sales
As promised, more numbers are now out.

Stan Hieronymus:
97% of the breweries in the country make just 3.8% of the beer. Meaning 3% of the breweries produce 96% of the beer.

The Brewers Association has released their Top 50 Craft and Overall Brewers for 2009 based on sales volume. No surprises in the top ten of either list, really. Here’s the Top 20 overall brewers: Anheuser-Busch InBev (St. Louis, MO) MillerCoors Brewing Co. (Chicago, IL) Pabst Brewing Co. (Woodridge, IL) D. G. Yuengling and Son Inc.
