I haven't had a beer from Southern Tier I didn't like. I thought the raspberry porter was very well done too. Nice, colorful artwork on the bottles too!

Cheers!

Thanks for the comments. Subsequent tasting of this porter I seemed to notice the raspberry more and more, specifically in the aroma. If it weren't for the hops to equal the fruit, I wouldn't like it. I think it would be improved by a bit less raspberry, but it is still currently my favorite porter. (but I'm still seeking that high hopped one)

I am glad that you found a fruit porter that you enjoy, I have also been on the same conquest for awhile now. Unfortunately, I tried this beer and do not feel the same gratitude towards it. For me the raspberry overpowers the beer and is almost fake tasting in my opinion, making the beer more raspberry than porter. Hopefully though I can find a porter with fruit that satisfies me one day, but it looks as though I might have to attempt to homebrew one myself.
