Subsequent tasting of this porter I seemed to notice the raspberry more and more, specifically in the aroma. If it weren't for the hops to equal the fruit, I wouldn't like it. I think it would be improved by a bit less raspberry, but it is still currently my favorite porter. (but I'm still seeking that high hopped one) Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, I tried this beer and do not feel the same gratitude towards it. For me the raspberry overpowers the beer and is almost fake tasting in my opinion, making the beer more raspberry than porter. Hopefully though I can find a porter with fruit that satisfies me one day, but it looks as though I might have to attempt to homebrew one myself.
