I still have a day job. This past month has been incredibly busy, not to mention a couple of trips with the family and lawn maintenance. Needless to say, I did not write a contribution for the August Session. Heck, I was so busy I didn’t even get a chance to post an announcement as I usually do.

Yeah, I know. There’s no excuse. I need to adjust my priorities, Mister.

Anyway, Number 18 was themed “Happy Anniversary” and hosted by The Barley Blog.

Use this as an excuse to celebrate. Open a limited release anniversary beer from your favorite brewer. Enjoy that special beer you normally only open on your wedding anniversary or birthday. Either way, tell us about it. Why is it a beer you may only drink once a year? Why is that brewery’s annual release the one you selected?

Upwards of thirty people participated in this edition of the Session. Interesting reads.
