John wrote us recently with a simple question:
Where can get Stella Artois in cans in Northern Virginia?
Well, I have no idea. Does Stella even come in cans? So I decided to ask the communal consciousness. Can anyone help John in his search?

The English-brewed version we get in these parts certainly does come in cans (it’s a favourite of the UK’s violent alcoholics, so it has to). Can’t really help beyond that.
Is it one of those European industrial macrobrews that has an inexplicable classy caché in the States, like Newkie Brown and Guinness?
The Beer Nuts last blog post..Release the hounds / lawyers
Yeah, it is. Stamp imported on the label and charge a buck more for it and you have a winner.

Yes, it does, though I’ve never fallen into that trap. Everyone one I’ve ever encountered has been skunked.
I’ve never seen it in cans. I’ll look around next time I’m at my favorite retailer. (Though they are, admittedly, not in Northern Virginia.)
