Beer-a-Day #28
Tröegs calls this their flagship beer. How odd that I’ve never had it. Especially since I generally like Tröegs’ beers.
Nice, deep amber color with a white head. Bready from the malt, grassy from the hops. Medium body with a clean finish and plenty of sharp hop bitterness.
Me likey. I’ll be picking this up regularly.
Great post. And a great beer. I always keep some Hopback in my fridge. It’s the best beer I’ve found to go with Italian food — an IPA works with pizza, but this beer is fanatastic with spaghetti and meatballs. I’m really enjoying your beer-of-the-day articles — what fun. Hope you can keep it up, as I’ll be rooting for you!
You must pick up some Nugget Nectar, if you havent had it yet. Mouthful of hops. delicious.
I have, but it has been a while. It’s a seasonal release, though, so I’m not sure when I’ll see it in my favorite retailer.
