Beer-a-Day #55
This is the first of several I picked up from Mendocino Brewing Company.
Pours a clear yellow. The head laces nicely on the glass. I get grapefruit and grass in the aroma, but mostly just a good “hoppy” smell. Lots of hops in the taste, medium body. This is quite refreshing. I like it quite a bit.
Where was it brewed? Just curious… Medicino CA or Saratoga NY?
This one in California. The Black Hawk Stout for tomorrow says Saratoga.
The Blue Heron is good, but I’ve always been partial to their Red Tale Ale. Good stuff.
I’ve got a Red Tail lined up for tomorrow.
I’ve been trying to get my hands on a Peregrine Golden but it is only brewed in CA so tough for me to find.
