Abita Turbo Dog
Beer-a-Day #73
This is the fifth of a six-pack from Abita Beer.
Turbodog is probably Abita’s most famous brew.
It pours a nice deep brown with gold highlights; thick cream-colored head. I’m getting a whiff of coffee, vanilla, and some fruit. Pineapple? Plenty of body, with a nice chocolate essence and a smooth finish. I rather like this.

Beer-a-Day #74 This is the last of a six-pack from Abita Beer. A nice amber color with orange highlights. Big spicy hop aroma. That’s interesting. A good bit of hops but not all that bitter. Beer-a-Day #72 This is number four of a six-pack from Abita Beer. After two beers gone bad, I’m hoping for a good experience. Pours a clear amber with a thick white head. A bit of citrusey hops. Body’s lighter than I expected, with a little hop bite. Now this is more like it. Abita Restoration
