Rock Bottom Stillwater Stout

My boss took a few of us out for happy hour at Rock Bottom in Bethesda, Maryland. He’d been going on about the Brown Bear Brown, which was pretty good, but I switched to the Stillwater Stout and I’m glad I did.
Dark, inky black with a beige head. Lots of nice roastiness and chocolate, and creamy smooth. It was very good.
It was very crowded. Well, $1.50 pints will do that. I don’t go to too many happy hours, but, man, the people there seem to get younger every year. What the heck is going on?

Beer-a-Day #120 I decided to take a break from the disappointments of light lager imports in green bottles. So, instead, I got myself a fresh-brewed domestic light lager that never saw the inside of the bottle. (Besides, my boss invited me to Rock Bottom. How could I say no?)
