Flying Dog Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale
Beer-a-Day #197
Meet the Alpha of the pack … Flying Dog Classic Pale Ale is brilliant amber in color and dry hopped with buckets full of Cascades for an unrivaled hop flavor and aroma. This is a true representation of an American-style pale ale, using the finest ingredients. Flying Dog Classic Pale Ale is a multi-award winning product and is consistently ranked as one of the best pale ales in the U.S. This is what craft beer is all about.
I would have written this up long ago, but my wife likes it so much I can’t keep it in the house long enough.
Copper colored and clear. Very pretty. Hops, hops, and hops in the aroma. Nicely balanced with just a little extra kick of bitterness.
Now to hide a few bottles…

Beer-a-Day #342
Our interpretation of a classic English beer style is copper-colored, medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.
Brown with some golden highlights and an [...]

Beer-a-Day #335
Like Hunter S. Thompson… Gonzo Imperial Porter is deep and complex. This turbo charged version of the Road Dog Porter is mysteriously dark with a rich and malty body, intense roasted flavors, and a surprisingly unique hop kick. With Gonzo weighing in at 7.8% ABV, it will bite you in the ass if [...]

Beer-a-Day #334
A Tröegs Brewery classic, our Pale Ale is copper colored with generous amounts of Cascade hops to create a floral, aromatic pale ale that smells as delicious as it tastes.
Tröegs Pale Ale pairs nicely with Mediterranean foods, starches and anything with fresh herbs. The floral hop character also blends with cheesy dishes like [...]

Beer-a-Day #321
This thirst quenching Barons Pale Ale uses the finest Australasian ingredients including Pacific Hallertau and Nelson Sauvin Hops. Best enjoyed icy cold.
Pale with a yellowish-orange caste. I get a bit of lemon and caramel in the aroma. Medium body with just enough hops in the finish. I’m glad this made the trip from [...]

Beer-a-Day #298
By far the biggest dog in the yard… Horn Dog Barley Wine is a dark and malty English-style Barely Wine that is aged for a minimum of three months before being packaged. Like a fine wine, this beer will only get better with age when stored at optimum conditions.
According to the label, this is [...]

Beer-a-Day #295
Pours a pale straw golden with a moderate white head. A bright, crisp aroma of floral, pine, and citrus accompanied by a malt backbone. At first taste good hop bitterness presence that turns to slightly bready malt sweetness that finishes dry and clean with hop flavor that lingers letting you know you just drank [...]
