Everything you’ve always wanted in a beer. And less.
I’ll give the Miller people credit, they’ve made some awfully amusing commercials over the years. The “Tastes Great. Less Filling.” campaign may have been one of the most successful ever.
Super pale with a white head. Unlike the other macros I’ve had the last few days it actually has a little head retention. Not much scent; a little vegetable aroma. Has a bit more flavor than the others I’ve had lately.

Tastes great! Less filling!

The Miller Lite “Tastes great! Less filling!” campaign was great. Not only were the commercials imaginative and amusing, featuring iconic sports figures and other macho celebrities, but it was a marketing message that worked. You can probably still stop in a crowded bar today, shout “less filling!” and get a chorus of “tastes great” in

Al, you must have done something very bad to punish yourself with these macro lagers. Still I guess that’s scietific research.
How far in advance do you schedule in the beers? Or do you just have a selection handy and go with the flow?

I don’t know that I’ve really done anything “bad”. From the beginning I’d planned on doing some macro lagers as part of this project. Now just seemed like a good time.
When I run low I go to my preferred retailer and get a mixed case of beers (I think) I haven’t had. Then when I need to write an article I just grab whatever suits my fancy. I’ve got about another six-pack worth of macros to have.
