Clear orange with a white head. The apricot aroma fairly overpowers anything else. The taste has a similar issue. It’s not bad, but it’s just not beery enough.
You have NAILED it, sir! I like a bit of fruit flavor in my beer as much as the next person (Magic Hat #9 comes to mind), and I picked this up a year or so ago as something both my wife and I could enjoy. However, the iteration I had struck me more as “beer flavored apricot juice” than anything else.
i tried the pyramid apricot ale and thought it was a very different tasting beer, a very pleasant apricot flavor,but still beer taste and not beer weak. i liked it and will have it again. i also tried haywire, thunderhead and curve ball and enjoyed them all in there owne special flavors. some had a little kick to them, but just fine to go along with the very cool labels.
