I liked that the flavor wasn't so strong but lighter. It went down very smooth which I guess is good if it is warm outside. But, overall I liked it when I had it and would get it again. A bigger malt profile would probably overwhelm the subtle watermelon flavor that's there. I'm not a fan of fruit beer. This one, at least, was rather unoffensive. Maybe watermelon is a difficult fruit to work with because the flavor is so light and, well, watery. The beer tasted like a watered down watermelon juice mixed with a Coors Light. Maybe if they used a darker, more flavorful malt and some more hops to make it a beer first and then followed by a hint of watermelon, I would have liked it more.
