Cascade Regional Blood Services (based in Tacoma, Washington) says that their promotion of giving a pint of beer when you donate a pint of blood worked so well that they’re going to expand it.
A couple years ago, flood waters destroyed a good part of my hometown. My fiancee’s family grabbed a couple six packs of the leftover cans of A-B water. It was nice of them to ship it in to a town that needed it.
