Pyramid Snow Cap Ale
Dec 11th
Deep mahogany in color, our full-bodied winter warmer is brewed in the spirit of British winter ales. Crafted with a flurry of roasted chocolate and caramel malts, and generously hopped, it delivers a smooth finish that makes this beer the perfect cold weather companion.
‘Tis the season for the winter warmer. I expect I’ll be having a lot of them this month as I finish out my project.
Deep brown with gold highlights. Rich, slightly spicy aroma, almost like there’s a bit of cinnamon in there. Rich, slightly roasted flavor. That’s good; I’d gladly have that again.

What do you know? Another winter beer on clearance.
Snow Goose is a Winter Warmer that has become a Mid-Atlantic tradition. Snow Goose pours a clear, deep, rich mahogany with a creamy, off-white head. The aromas are warm, toasty malts and caramel with just a hint of hops. Finishes clean
and dry.
Medium-dark brown with orange highlights; beige head. I can definitely smell the caramel and a bit of vanilla. Medium body with nice roastiness and more caramel. I rather like that.

Beer-a-Day #9
Baby, it’s cold outside. A good time for another Winter Warmer.
Pours a dark brown with a light brown head. In the aroma I get the impression of spices (nutmeg?), raisin, and pineapple. As it warms the spice and alcohol become more pronounced. More spiced bread and raisins in the flavor. Weighs in at 8.9% ABV, and seems it. Pretty good; I’d have another.

Beer-a-Day #7
Cold and rainy out. In fact, it’s starting to ice up. A good time for a winter warmer.
Clay Pipe is a contract brewer in Frederick, Maryland. I like to buy local when I can. Pursuit of Happiness is their Winter Warmer.
Pours a nice deep amber with some chill haze. Lots of hop spice in the aroma. Medium-heavy body, with nice malt sweetness and a hefty amount of hops. That’s good.
Hey Ron! I think you’d like this one.
